Alpaca "El Charco" is a small breeder of alpaca’s, located in the southwest of the Netherlands. Our goal is the breeding of alpaca’s of high quality which can be an important contribution to the improvement of the present potential of the existing herds in Europe. At the same time we try to make these beautiful animals accessible for new potential lovers/breeders. We breed for healthy, sturdy built and strong animals with good bonework and a closed, fine fleece and a beautiful brightness. Regarding these guidelines we applied a very strict selection when we purchased our first animals, which already belong to the top of Europe, but are also descendants of the best and most popular pure Peruvian bloodline of the excellent Accoyo and Rural Alianza breeds. The already achieved results of our animals is excellent proof of our efforts, for example the Grand Champion of the first Alpaca Show in the Netherlands in 2008 and the Champion White Female of the British Alpaca Futurity 2006. Furthermore the pedigrees of almost all our animals consist of the best bloodlines that are present at this moment in Europe.
